Abi envisioned AuMBER (Initially named EMBER) with his university friend Raja Bose. It all started with a conversation regarding mobile app testing, the challenges (device unavailability, waiting time due to PO process, challenges in maintaining the in-house device infrastructure, performance issues in cloud testing, etc.) being faced by individual developers, testers and companies. Abi built a mobile cloud testing platform at his previous company where he gathered a lot of experience and knowledge by working with his mentor Vu Lam, Uy Tran, and Buu Nguyen (Truly thankful to meet such nice people and the opportunity to learn from them). Abi continuously documented the problems and solutions, but he didn't initiate AuMBER until he joined Antler in June 2022.



AuMBER officially started in August 2022 at Antler Vietnam’s second cohort (An early-stage venture capital firm that helps ambitious and promising founders build their startup from day 0). This is where Abi met his co-founder Christian Lee. Christian had most recently been working on a mobile app project where he noticed the same challenges that Abi had been developing solutions for his entire career. Both Abi and Christian realized how well they worked together and how well their interests aligned, leading them to team up and solve all the mobile app testing challenges with AuMBER.
